Gather is excited to offer private workshops! This is a great way to try your hand at glassblowing, celebrate a special occasion, come together as a team or spend an afternoon with a group of special folks that will leave you with fun memories, a sense of accomplishment and a piece of beautiful glass art that you had a hand in creating!
You'll have a chance to hang out at the gallery and studio before making a glass ball under the guidance of an experienced glassblower. You'll learn about the rich art and history of glassblowing, experience an exciting demonstration and have all your questions about this unique craft answered.
Workshops are 100$ per person who is making a piece, up to 15 people, it takes about 20 minutes for a person to complete their piece. All pieces made during the workshops will be available for pickup or shipping within a week of the workshop. You are responsible for the cost of shipping.

Each participant will make a glass ball that is approximately 4.5" in diameter. You get to choose the colours!
You will be the only participant present during your workshop. If you're coming as a group, and have booked back to back workshops, you can all be present during the workshop(s).
Usually within 3 days, but it can be longer depending on the size of your group. Our artists will confirm this with you during your workshop.
Absolutely! We can ship anything to you if you are unable to pick it up in person.
You do! If you aren't comfortable though, our talented artist will be able to help or step in at any point.
Jeans and flat shoes are best, a t-shirt with a hoodie which can be removed if you get warm. We provide water and eye protection. Don't forget your phone - you're encouraged to take photos and videos of your experience (don't forget to tag us)!
